Assessment matrix qualifications for professional advancement of youth (SAMVAY) was launched here on Tuesday on the occasion of the National Day of Education.
It defines the rules for the allocation of credit and the National Qualifications Framework should be skill (NSQF) - approved by the Government of the Union last year - that allows students to alternate courses of vocational and general.
"University Grants Commission at its meeting decided to various central universities can practice translation based on the choice of the loan, and I hope that all of our universities will implement this system in the next school year, so that all our students can gradually learn from one university to the other, "the minister of human resources smriti Irani said at the presentation.
The Ministry has also launched a portal "Know your college" presence of President Pranab Mukherjee, the minority affairs minister Najma Heptulla and Ministers of State for HRD Upendra Kushwaha and frames Shankar Katheria. Portal http://www.knowyourcollege-gov.in/ has basic details of colleges offering technical courses that will help students make informed choices.
