President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday said there was a need to disseminate the use of technology in education dispensation, adding that education should be controlled by the three E expansion, equity and excellence.
"It is (a) to transfer the use of technology in education dispensation. A world digitalizing quick scope remains important changes in pedagogy and teacher learning structures. Our efforts urges on new technology that is in nascent stage. we can not afford to waste time. we need our institutions to exploit advanced technology and leading position in it, "he said.
The president spoke at a ceremony to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of India, the Vigyan Bhavan here.Add that education can lead to "progress Trinity", said universal coverage of education should be complemented with high standards of universal education.
"Our educational programs must be controlled by the three E expansion, equity and excellence. We must establish standards and benchmarks for learning processes and outcomes and make them strictly abide by all schools.
The occasion Mukherjee launched across India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) "knows his College Portal" - to help students make informed decisions about colleges throughout the country; and website of Bharat Abhiyan Unnati - oriented development technologies for the development of rural India.
The program also witnessed the launch of two scholarships - Saksham and Pragati, which is intended to provide assistance to the advancement of girls in technical education and to provide encouragement and support for children with special-disabilities pursue technical education, respectively.
A framework developed by AICTE credit skills, called matrix eligibility assessment for the professional development of youth (SAMVAY) was launched by the Minister of Human Resource Development Smriti Irani occasion.
