Union Public Service Commission released the e-summoning letters (interview call letters) for candidates who cleared Indian Forest Service Exam, 2014 (IFS (mains) 2014) on their official website. Personality Test candidates are scheduled to begin today, ie from 2 to 12 February 2015 in the morning and afternoon session.
Candidates must note that UPSC will not send any e-summoning letter in the mail. Candidates have been informed through e-summoning letter, e-mail and SMS on their respective addresses. E-summoning letters can also be downloaded by adding Roll through UPSC official website -http: //upsc.gov.in/.
IFS (mains) was performed on 22 November 2014. It was performed in two sessions; morning and afternoon session.
The government has changed the pattern of IFS examination exam 2013 by introducing a component of screening mechanism civil services (preliminary) examination. All candidates seek Indian Forest Service Exam is therefore necessary for civil services (preliminary) examination and qualify it to go to other stage (typewritten and interview).
IFS mains were held in the following cities: Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.
About 85 positions were expected to be filled on the basis of the results of this year survey.
