The results of the civil services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected in the second week of October go by trends in previous years. No official date provided by the examination authorities if they say that the results are coming soon and will put a stop to wait for lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam this year.

Civil services preliminary examination consisted of two documents 200 brands. The paper consisted of objective type multiple choice questions, which was completed in two hours each ie Paper I: general studies, paper II: General Aptitude. Negative marking is valid for examination.
More than 4.5 lakh candidates appeared in the examination. Overall, 9, 44, 926 candidates had applied for the examination, but only 6,80,455 downloaded admit cards. From nearly seven lakh candidates got 4.5 lakh for the test held at 2,137 centers in 59 cities. In the year 2013 saw the UPSC civil services preliminary 3,24,101 candidates.
Final profit for qualified candidates for civil services (mains) written exam will be drawn using the total marks obtained in Paper I 200 marks and the marks obtained in Paper II of 200 marks minus the maximum marks assigned to questions English reading comprehension skills (ie, the questions in paper-II for the Hindi translation have not received).
