EXTERNAL SUPERVISORY EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please review the following information (which can be changed from previous information)
Students will be required to produce photo ID before writing the examination.
Students who arrive late for their exam will be writing their time reduced accordingly.
If a student fails to appear at the examination on the date fixed, write the exam will be sent back. In this case, we will notify the institution of origin about the no-shows.
Only the necessary elements for the examination will be allowed in the exam room. Please be advised that Athabasca University is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.
Examination instructions must be clearly about what the student is permitted to take the examination (pen, pencil, notes/notes or not, etc.). The test center will not engage in discussions/arguments about what he/she can take the exam. We follow the instructions on the exam, regardless of what the student information received from other sources.
The examination should not include any "disruptions", which would require the student to leave and re-enter the exam Hall. (This is to eliminate distractions from other students writing exams in the same room).
Students are encouraged to call the test center at least 3 or 4 days before the date of writing to ensure that the examination has arrived. We do not initiate contact with students to confirm exam has arrived.
Verify that the test centre will be opened on public holidays.
You must select units of study a student for each academic period. NO clashes will be allowed.
The examination dates are subject to change at the University. Dates and times may be amended at the request of students.
Final examination timetable will be sent to students prior to the applicable examination by post.
It will contain the following information:
A list of units of study in which students qualify for admission to write exams.
A list of units of study (if any) in which students do not qualify for the exam.
Details of the date (s) and time (s) of the exam (s).
Examination instructions appear on the other side of the calendar.
Any candidate who has not received his/its final calendar, you need to contact immediately the Department of examinations.
