Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, named after the great son of India, Shaheed e Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh, as a co-educational college was founded in 1967, the constituent college of the University of Delhi. It gained the status of graduate students in a record time of 9 years. The College is proud of having experienced faculty. The College has a fully computerized library, computer labs, laboratories geography, impressive facilities, including a large playground with cricket pitch, volleyball court, basketball court, lawn tennis court, etc.
College functions through a set of various committees, members of the faculty. Students are also invited to volunteer some committees under the guidance of a qualified instructor. Opportunities thus provided for talent to grow in co-curricular activities, cultural and others.
