State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct SBI associate banks PO exam in 2014 to recruit 2,986 probationary officers, records that ended on 16 September. However, to facilitate the candidates belonging to flood affected area of Jammu & Kashmir, the registration process has been reopened. Registrations will continue until October 4 only for candidates from Jammu and Kashmir area.
Extended registration schedule:
Registration Process: 29 September to 4 October
Payment of fee (online): 29 September to 4 October
Payment of fee (offline): 1 October October 9
According to a message on the official website, "will this further registration will be available only for candidates opting for a center falls in J & K state for the written exam. There are six centers where the written examination will be conducted in J & K ie Ananatnag, Srinagar , Udhampur, Jammu, Kathua and Samba and candidates can choose only one of these six centers for written examination for extended period ".
Applicants must register online first through the Bank's website http://www.statebankofindia.com or http://www.sbi.co.in. Then, candidates are required to pay the required application fee through one of the following modes:
Offline mode: the system generates a cash voucher / challan form pre-printed with candidate details that will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the required fee. Payment of required data generated through challan form, the registration of the online application can be completed.
Online mode: payments made by debit / credit card / online banking.
