Sanchi Buddhist university Indian studies released four certificate courses soon to give an introduction to candidates interested in certain philosophical doctrines. "The first year" Buddhism "beginning on January 5th 2015. Former Vice - Canceller (VC) NG Samten Sarnath based central Tibetan college will conduct the course" VC Shashi Cathrine University Kumar told reporters here today.
Professor SR Bhatt, a former leader of philosophy at the University of Delhi, take the second course titled Indian philosophy, which will be launched on January 12 2015.Prof Kumar even did the course "Learning Sanskrit language" beginning on February 12, 2015, while the course 'Kashmir Saivism 'begins on March 15, 2015, will be directed by director Bettina Varanasi based Samvidalaya Baeumer March 15, 2015.
Topics being two months. Admission forms are available online from today onwards. Recording has remained in first come first serve basis and is open for candidates interested in these subjects. Entitlement is however minimal pass XII or equivalent. It would be at least 15 students and 20 participants per batch.
"The course is designed to combine traditional and modern methods of teaching. There are lectures and presentations in the morning session while there would be some evening meditation practice. A guru-shishya tradition would be followed with the teacher and students live together," says Prof Kumar.
Replying to a query, he said the university will launch full courses in the next 2-3 years. However, it was decided to start certificate courses for the benefit of those students who could not perform full courses.
