Kerala Govt have finally found the space for the preparation of IIT institutes in the state. The state government has identified two plots - 600 acres in central Puduserry and 650 acres in West Puduserry in Palakkad - set up the bank.
The state government has higher education department additional secretary M Sherif appointed as liaison officer and he will review the plots on 10 "After the test, I sent a detailed report to the government. We hope to complete set up of the land IIT," said police chief.
Kerala received an IIT in the 2014 EU budget but under the condition that between 500 and 600 acres of land free of proceedings was provided by the State Government.
Sources said residents were ready to move, provided they have adequate compensation and are rehabilitated under the new Land Acquisition Act.
