National Institute of Public Cooperation and child development (NIPCCD) offers internship for post-graduate (PG) and research students. NIPCCD Internship will be available during the holiday, which is willing to have an exposure / familiarization of general processes in child development, child guidance and counseling, child rights and CHILD, voluntary efforts, women development, ICDS training, etc. Each intern will be equipped with a minimum logistical support ie office space access intercom system and computer system.
Internship amount is Rs.2500 / - per month for a post graduate student and Rs.5000 / for a doctoral student. The duration of internship will not be over a period of 2 months and not less than 45 days. Remuneration will be paid at the end for local transportation and other emergency.
A maximum of 10 internship offered in a fiscal year. Out of 10 students in internship placed four at headquarters, two each regional center Bangalore and Lucknow and one each in Guwahati and Indore.
Subject: Scholarships granted in science, humanities, social sciences and engineering and technology.
Research scientists will be preferred first followed by last year graduate students internship.
Furthermore, only those students who pursues it as part of the post graduate curriculum will be eligible for internship at the institute.
Interested PG / research students pursuing studies at various universities and recognized research institutes send their applications in the enclosed proforma along with their CV (optional), duly forwarded through the head Ministry.

All programs will be scrutinized by a committee of additional director, worried Joint Director and a senior member. Actual offer will be sent to selected candidates depending on the track, the consent of the committee constituted for the purpose.
Interns will be guided by additional / Joint Director incharge of specialized departments eg child development, women development, training, public cooperation and Regional Directors in - charge of NIPCCD regional centers located in Bangalore, Guwahati, Lucknow and Indore.
Do not let be adopted in the internship period
The certificate will be awarded to students on receipt of approval of the satisfactory performance of his supervisor
The Department will not be responsible for providing accommodation to home and outgoing Interns. But will in special circumstances and subject to availability of accommodation institute hostels headquarters and regional centers, the department may consider offering accommodation to apprentice with the approval of the director. Interns will be charged rent on the same scale as such accommodation is made available to the officers of the Department on tour. Boarding costs will be paid by the Internal directly to the contractor at the rates approved by the Department for its various courses.
Each intern will be required to present a brief report / paper at the end of mission observations and suggestions, if their supervisor.
