Raipur: In reference to the center of Jan Matias Yojana and easily Doing business initiatives, President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday said concerted and decisive action was needed to understand the new India of Gandhiji's dream "swachh and Julia bharat".
Addressing the fourth convocation and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) here, he emphasized the preparations for a large number of skilled workers to run the country's rapid economic growth.
"The government has launched important initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Mission Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Jan Matias Yojana, India tea, easy to Doing Business, clean Ganga campaign etc.
"A common and determined effort to reform India, strengthened ideas and imagination of the premier institution such as the IIM Raipur, can help our people to understand Gandhiji's dream Swachh and Julia Bharat" the president said.
Mukherjee said the training to enrich the lives, advances thinking, a new idea is progressing and improving people's capacity.
"When the information to encourage growth in the future, it is important that we are preparing a large number of skilled and capable workforce that drives rapid economic growth in the country and allows us to deal with poverty, deprivation and backwardness," the president said.
He said the latest societies have built their economic success is based on sound education and a rich cultural research.
Assistant said, spreading more and more higher education institutions is important.
"However, it is equally important that the training is taught to students of a high quality. The government has also taken proactive steps to ensure that students gain the necessary knowledge and skills that are essential to the new needs," he said.
The Board of Directors together with the Indian Banks Association has a new mass guidelines to ensure the financial support of each potential student is denied higher education, the President said.
"This empower meritorious students of low-income groups benefit from a quality education offers the premier institutes like IIMs," the president said.
Higher Education is to promote a culture of excellence and develop the core competencies, he said.
"Today's students involved in their lives at work, that you may not even now. They have to teach critical skills and transfer of knowledge. They are infused with the characteristics of creative thinking and problem solving," the assistant said.
He said the nation to invest in it, and the universities because the students are the future of the country.
"Students, in turn, is an important responsibility, not only for themselves and their families of this country and its people. I am sure that the students who have earned their degrees today will participate in a meaningful way-building," the president said.
Assistant said to the young people are the future stewards of this nation.
"If the goals of poverty eradication, health for all, for all the power and all the higher standard of living is to be achieved in the near future, it is our youth, who must respond to the challenge," he said.
