National Institute of Pathology, ICMR, New Delhi invites applications from bright young individuals from diverse backgrounds with strong motivation and good academic credentials to pursue research in frontier areas of modern biology leading to a Ph.D. in the broad interdisciplinary fields of research are cancer biology, infectious diseases, environmental toxicity, biology of adult stem cells, metabolic syndrome, which the Institute is affiliated with Florida International University simbiosiPune, BITS Pilani, Jamia Hamdard and Delhi for the award of PhD degree
Who is subscribing?
Master (M.Sc/M.Tech) with 60% (or equivalent CGPA) in any branch of Life Sciences and holding communion like CSIR-UGC (JRF) / ICMR-JRF / DST-INSPIRED (certificate of scholarship must be valid at the time of admission)
Age upper age limit: Limit is 28 years relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / physically handicapped persons as well as woman candidates according to the rules of government. India

Selection Procedure: Candidates fulfilling minimum requirements will be invited via email to appear for an interview; the date and time of the interview will be declared on the website PIN individual letters regarding the date and time of interview will not be sent to PIN reserves the right to modify the minimum requirements in case of confirmation number applications; the decision of the Director, NIP will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard NOT TA / DA will be paid at any stage of the selection process; Admission Committee's decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard mortgage in any form and / or bringing any influence will be treated as a disqualification; in the case of eligible candidates already activated JRF fellowships, the letter of consent from the competent authority is to present PIN, Delhi, at the time of interview otherwise be obliged to cancel the bid candidates should note that no -compliment the eligibility criteria will result in the cancellation of the candidature at any stage of the admission process last date for submission of application: 08th October 2014
