This NASA Space Settlement Contest 2015, co-sponsored by NASA Ames and the National Space Society (NSS) has opened entries for 2015. This is an annual competition where students are motivated to develop designs settlement space and other related materials.
Students from Class 1 to 12 students (18 years) from anywhere in the world are invited to participate.
Individuals and small teams of two to five or six teams are judged separately. Tickets also are grouped by age / grade of the oldest contestant to judge. The age groups are under 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. The grand prize is awarded to the best entry without considering the age of the contestant.
Details of project presentation
Designs, original research, essays, stories, models, artwork or other orbital settlement related materials may present.
How to apply
Registration form is available on the official website of NASA. Send a hard copy of their entry and two copies of the completed entry form (a firmly attached to their entry and the others try to attach, perhaps with a paper clip) to:

Awards and certificates
The best presentation, regardless of the category, won the grand prize, consisting of the presentation space colonies placed on the site of the NASA Ames World Wide Web.
Invitation of the National Space Society (NSS) to 2015 participants for attending the 34rd annual international space development NSS Conference (ISDC) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 20 to 24, 2015.
Award of $ 5,000 for the single highest score team or individual attending NSS Bruce M. Clark, Jr. Memorial space settlement. Winners highest ranking participants will be invited to make oral presentations and is available now.
All nominations must be received by 1 March 2015
