The Indian Coast Guard has invited applications for the post sense of duty Navik general. The profile is only for unmarried male Indian citizens.
Name of the post: Navik general duty.
Applicants should have an amount of 60 percent and a minimum of 60 percent each in mathematics and physics in class X and XII from recognized Board. (5 percent relaxation for SC / ST candidates and departments of the Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service.)
Applicants should be aged 18 to 22 years. (Upper limit age relaxation of five years for SC / ST and three years for OBC candidates).
Applicants will be selected on the basis of written examination in the following pattern.
Mathematics, physics, basic chemistry, knowledge of English to 12th standard, general knowledge, current affairs programs, quantitative safety and reasoning.
Those who qualify the written test, a physical fitness test (PFT).
It will include: -
1.6 km run finished in seven minutes.
20 squats (Uthak Baithak)
10 push ups. Candidates undergo PFT will do it at your own risk.
