The second program in Management (FPM) on GLIMMER is the first program of its kind in the country. It is an AICTE approved level doctoral program in communication discipline.
Admission process for other program in management
Step 1: Telephonic interview made to eligible applicants.
Step 2: Nominated applicants appear MICA FPM auditions. On FPM audition is a two-day process organized GLIMMER campus, consisting of written test (WT), a group discussion (GD), a single presentation (IP) and a personal interview (PI).
Applicants displayed on auditions given lodging and boarding GLIMMER campus.
Written Test (WT)
Written test will examine the candidate (communication) theoretical understanding, the ability to examine a communication phenomenon and interpret data and conclusions.
Group Discussion (GD)
Group discussion includes a group 6-8 applicants will be given a GD topic on site. The group will be allowed to deliberate and reflect on the subject for the first 15 minutes, followed by a 30 minute discussion. GD process will be judged by a panel of experts.
Individual presentation (IP)
The candidate is given one presentation on site. He gets 90 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to a panel of experts. Applicants must make presentations to PowerPoint (PPT). A computer that will be assigned to each candidate for creating PPT. applicants can get their own laptop. However, each candidate may be required to get a USB flash drive.
Personal interview will follow IP, where a panel of experts will evaluate the candidate's personality and passion for research.
Detailed test structure and timings are sent to applicants nominated for FPM admission test.
