Manipur country's Cabinet meeting today decided to establish two new universities in the state. Okendro Moirangthem minister told reporters that the Cabinet has approved the country.
It was also decided in the coming winter session of the state legislature to submit bills. Two, for the first time in Churachandpur, and named after the national animal 'soon', and the other will be appointed Dhanamanjuri University.
This is determined by the Minister of Education M Okendro after a cabinet presided over by Chief Minister O Ibobi conference announced.
Some 7,500 to 8,500 students per year, graduated from different institutions in Manipur, but as a PG Seats are limited at Manipur University and Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, only a small part can accommodate.
This means that approximately 60-70% of people migrate to other countries to continue their studies or drop out.
The two universities are based American Library, intended to establish a total of more than two hundred universities in India and the Ministry of Human Resource Development has agreed to sanction Rs 55 crore for the project set up.
According to the university, DM Arts, science, business, teacher education, Hindi Training Institute, GP and LMS law college female students will be affiliated.
