Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi invites applications for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs for 2015.
Aspirants should have an M.Phil degree of a recognized university / research institution with a minimum final grade average (FGPA) of 6.0 in 10 point scale / comparable standard where sorting is based on the system than 10-point scale.
Aspirants who have received M.Phil degree from a university / institution where the thesis is not censored or grading is not on the 10-point scale must forward a copy of their M.Phil thesis application for assessment of their credentials.
Aspirants who M.Phil / M.Tech / Pre Ph.D / MPH results are not available are not considered under any circumstances.

Filled in application form can be sent by registered mail section officer (recording), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-1067 or personal room No. 28, administrative block of the University on or before January 30, 2015.
Aspirants are necessary demand draft drawn Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi following rates against the cost of application and fees with the application form:
For general and OBC category: Rs.420 / - (Rs.20 / costs for application + Rs. 20 / - for processing fee).
For candidates belonging to SC / ST and physically challenged (PH) Category: Rs.310 / - (Rs.20 / costs for application + Rs. 10 / - for processing fee)
For candidates to BPL category: Rs.10 / -for processing fee.

Application for winter semester beginning in January 2016 wi1l be available from: Tuesday, September 1, 2015 to Thursday, October 15, 2015.
