JEE main 2015 FAQs for computer based (Online) examination

Answer: computer-based examination will be conducted through the local area network (LAN) to make it more safe, secure and uninterrupted.

Question: What are the benefits of computer-based exam?

Answer: computerized exam has the following advantages mentioned:

The candidate may be revised or re answer any question any time point during the exam.

The candidate can change the option for examining the response and is one of the most important features of computer-based exams.

The applicant also has the option to mark any response to subsequent revision during the examination.

There will be a panel on the computer screen showing all the numbers in question in different color schemes that will indicate that the questions answered, left unanswered or marked for review.

Question: What is the last date to submit an online application for computer-based examination and its procedure?

Answer: Candidates must apply online on or before December 18, 2014 via web JEE (Main).

Answer: no.

Question: When the computer based exam be held?

Answer: The examination is scheduled to be held on April 10 and 11, 2014.

Question: When a candidate choose the date for the computer-based exam?

Answer: when present form JEE (Main) itself.

Question: What is the schedule for the computer based exam?

Answer: The examination will be in two shifts, ie

First shift 09:30 to 12:30 hours [IST]

Second shift (if necessary) hours of 14:00 to 17:00 [IST]

Answer: There will be enough buffer computers available in the examination centers to take care of these problems and lost time in changing the system will be properly compensated as per second will be recorded on the server.
