The eligibility criteria are:
For clerk: Applicants should have a Bachelor or Master or equivalent from a recognized University. He has passed the Matriculation with Hindi as one of the subject and must have skills in handling computer (word processing and spread sheet).
Stenographer Grade III: Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or master's degree or its equivalent from a recognized University and must have skills in handling computer (word processing and spread sheets.
For drivers: The applicant must have passed at least the middle of Punjabi / Hindi as one of the subjects. He must have a valid license for L.T.V. He should not be convicted of any offense for careless driving and need to have at least two years experience driving a car.
For clerk: At least 18 years and a maximum of 42 years
For Stenographer Grade III: At least 18 years and maximum 42 years
For drivers: At least 18 years and maximum 42 years
Note: Relaxation in age is applicable for all prospective savings.
The selection process:
For clerk: Must attend to a written examination.
For Stenographer Grade III: The applicant shall have passed the test at a speed of 80 WPM in abbreviated English and WPM 20. The same transcription on the computer. He is also entitled to qualify the test computer skills (word processing and spread sheets) The test scores are required but will not be counted towards the end because it deserves merit in nature
For drivers: Final selection should be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the practical driving test and interview. If the number of candidates to be used, written examinations will be conducted.
