Bhagavad Gita Haryana government as a part of the school curriculum to include plans. Yoga, Sanskrit and the Bhagavad-gita as subjects to be taught in classes V are proposed.
Dina Nath Batra, Haryana government advisory board, said part of, "teaching students in yoga posture, making them learn the Bhagavad Gita, the student will be close to the roots of India and its culture."
State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Ram Bilas Sharma, Haryana Haryana Education Minister is to provide an action plan for schools. SCERT, education is an advisory body, which is finalizing the content of school textbooks.
Ram Bilas Sharma said: "educators and psychologists have been suggestions under each section of the Bhagavad Gita shlokas supposed to fix the level."
Geeta Sharma schools from next academic session will be taught in classes V to XII said.
Earlier this year, the Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj also suggested that the Gita has made national holy book.
