Today Shri Narendrabhai Modi, the Honorable Prime Minister of India, inaugurated the Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan. Members of the family of GTP, spread over the various colleges/polytechnics/institutes and in all offices of the GTC worked in their respective institutions and took the oath of actively working for clean India.

STU made a small beginning, holding a preparatory meeting and a Half-day seminar on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in solid waste disposal systems. Krupali Raval and Priyanka Deliwala, two young women students in LiveJournal Institute of engineering and technology has developed an innovative system of solid waste management, their final year project. They studied the properties of solid waste at Ahmedabad and dumps in Piran. I visited the Institute May 13, 2014 solemnly using the system for the entire campus of LiveJournal.
Let each college work on technologies that may be most appropriate for villages and towns, talukas near their college. Let each College to examine the financial viability of the different technologies in their field. Let us help make our neighborhoods clean, optimal use of existing technologies or developing new technologies where this is necessary. Through this work, we will be able to strengthen our existing industry or help develop new ones.
