GCET (Goa Common entrance Test) is conducted by the management of Technical Education, Government of Goa candidates seeking admission to first year undergraduate courses Professional in medicine, dentistry, engineering, pharmacy, architecture and homeopathy in the state of Goa. Admission to the degree in architecture will be based on NATA.

For MBBS, BDS and BHMS sun. Applicant must have passed the higher secondary examination certificate (STD XII) Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the whole subjects of physics, Chemistry and Biology joining. (For candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC only 40% and 45% for applicants belonging to the category of PH for MBBS and BDS course).
1st year BE - Applicants should have passed the examination of upper secondary school certificate (Std.XIIth) of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination with English, Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer / Biology and secured not less than 45% marks in the whole subjects of physics & mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio technology / computer science / biology. (40% for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).
First Year B. Pharm. - Applicants must have passed the examination of upper secondary school certificate (Std.XIIth) of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory one of the following subjects Mathematics / Bio-technology / computer / Biology and secured not less than 45% * marks a whole subjects of physics & chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Bio-technology / computer / Biology. (40% * for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC only). According to the Pharmacy Council of India regulations, candidates passed Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by open country, New Delhi is not approved / eligible for admission to B.Pharm.
B.Arch .: The first year alone. Applicant must have passed the examination of upper secondary school certificate (Std.XIIth) of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50 % marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC / ST / OBC). Or 10 + 3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by the central government / state with 50% aggregate marks.
International Baccalaureate, after 10 years of schooling, with no less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. The minimum score 80/200 NATA applicants will be eligible for admission B.Arch.
An applicant degree in medicine, dentistry and homeopathy must have passed the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the academic year of admission to return eligible for admission to the first year. Age limits, minimum or maximum specified for access architecture and engineering, pharmacy.
How to Apply :
Candidates may download and print Application Form –A for appearing at GCET-15 and submit the same in person at notified Application Reception Centre as per centre opted, along with a DD of Rs. 1500/- payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa and the test fee of Rs.1000/- by demand draft payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, drawn on any Scheduled Bank and three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self attested photo copies) to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person. Applicants shall ensure that the
validity of the Demand Draft is atleast 3 months from the date of issue.
G2CET-2015 (Common Entrance Test for Direct 2nd Year)
G2CET 2015 Admissions to Direct Second year Lateral Admissions in Engineering and Pharmacy Courses shall be made on the Basis of Marks Scored in Qualifying Exam (Diploma / B.Sc) from year 2015 – 16.
