With barely 12 days left for the application for vacancies at food company in India (FCI) Finally, candidates who wish to apply should not waste much time.

Junior Engineer (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Engineering): Candidates seeking this post should have degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Companion Grade-II (Hindi): Candidates seeking this post should have a degree in Hindi.
Companion class III (General / accounts / technical / Depot): Candidates seeking this post should have a degree in any discipline.
Typist (Hindi): Candidates willing to apply for this post graduates. Besides, they should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute on Hindi.
Junior engineer: Candidates seeking this post should not age more than 28 years.
Companion Grade-II (Hindi): Candidates seeking this post should not age more than 28 years.

Before signing / broadcast online, should candidates remember the following points:
Valid email ID and mobile number of candidates should ensure that e-ID or mobile no. indicated in the online application form to be valid / active recruitment process is completed as all communication will be through these media. No change in e-ID and mobile no. permitted when submitted. Candidate will be responsible for errors or expired e-mail ID & mobile no.
Photography: Candidates are required to scan and upload a recent colored passport size photograph, preferably with white background, no more than three months old into earmarked in an online application form. The file size of the image should be between 20kb - 40kb.
Signature: Candidates will scan and upload their signature (in black ink) against a white background in the field earmarked in an online application form and the guidelines given on the website. Candidates must ensure that the signatures are identical in the recruitment process at all stages and / or places. If all variations between signatures, is responsible candidacy to be canceled. Candidates are advised to confirm their uploaded signature in the right place is clearly visible. The size of the file should be between 10kb - 20kb.
Certificate of exemption of registration fee: SC / ST / PWD / ex-servicemen or serving defense spending personnel. Candidates seeking service fee exemption must upload the relevant documents / certificates as mentioned above as proof of exemption from the registration fee. Female candidates must upload some attest to mention that sex and / or photograph as secondary school certificate / caste certificate / college ID card / aadhar card / voter ID card / driving license / passport etc. The size of the scanned file should be between 20kb - 60KB.

Fee payment can be made via two modes:
Online mode: When a candidate click the button to make the payment, the site will redirect them to SBI payment area. There are various options for payment at SBI area namely SBI internet banking, other 18 major bank banking; debit / credit cards, cash payments through e-challan on branches of SBI. After successful payment, they will immediately be redirected to http://www.fcijobsportal.com for generating registered application. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the registered application form for their records and future reference. Thus the process of registration of candidates who have to pay the registration fee completed.
Cash payment (offline): A challan generated in two copies (one copy bank and one candidate copy). After taking a printout of bank challan, have a candidate to visit your nearest SBI branch in working days / hours of work and payment of 18 March. After payment, you get a candidate candidate copy of challan duly stamped with a record number. Candidates are advised to keep this copy of challan in safe custody for future use. Then, candidates visit the official website after a gap of at least 24 hours and check payment status online.
Candidates can apply only in one zone either north zone, south zone, east zone, west zone or north-east zone;
Candidates can apply for any one of the post within the zone only;
No qualification other than mentioned in the qualification criteria would be accepted;
The admit card for the written test indicating the time and venue of examination for each candidate can be downloaded from the official website 15 days prior to the date of examination onwards;
All the posts carry IDA pattern pay scales and usual allowances such as HRA, leave travel facilities etc. These scales carry DA on percentage basis. Gross emoluments would vary depending upon place of posting;
The seniority of the officials, appointed in the services of FCI within the zone, will be determined by the order of merit in which they are finally selected for appointment. They will be posted in any state within the jurisdiction of the zone against which they are selected. The seniority of the officials will be maintained in their respective zones in the respective cadre;
Candidates are required to submit the online application form only once;
Candidates are not permitted to use calculator and other electronic gadgets except as specified in the advertisement. They should not, therefore, bring the same inside the examination premises/venue;
All papers in the written examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only except paper-IV for AG-II (Hindi) which will be of conventional type;
All 120 multiple choice questions in paper-I, paper-II and paper-III will carry equal one mark and paper-IV will comprise of 120 marks;
Discrepancies in question paper should be brought to the notice within 15 days of holding the examination. Representation submitted thereafter will not be entertained;
In view of the large number of applications, scrutiny of the eligibility, category and other aspects will not be undertaken before issuing call letters for written test;
Candidates in their own interest are advised to provide their mobile numbers and E-mail IDs accurately, as it may be used for all future correspondence;
It is mandatory for all the candidates to upload their photograph and signatures as specified without any exception;
No change in centre of examination will be allowed under any circumstances. Hence, the candidates should select the centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in their applications;
Mere submission of application and fulfilling the eligibility conditions gives no right to any person for appearing in written test etc;
Qualifying in the written test and skill test for any post without fulfillment of eligibility conditions will not confer any claim to the candidate for final selection to the post;
No TA will be provided for the written test/skill test
