Father Muller Medical College, located about a kilometer from the National Highway-17 (Mumbai-Mangalore highway) in Kankanady in Mangalore, this school of religious minorities, forming part of the charitable institutions father Muller (FMCI). He is known as one of the oldest hospitals in Mangalore.
Father Muller Hospital, a well-known household name, opened its doors to the people of South Canara in 1880. It began when his father August Muller SJ, a German Jesuit dispense homeopathic medicines under the banyan tree. He went on to become a leprosy hospital (now known as leprosy hospital of St. Joseph), and then a full-fledged hospital. She began nursing school that offers diplomas in general nursing and midwifery (GNM) and later College of Nursing, which offers a bachelor's degree of nursing science.
In 1989 he was duly constituted fr. Muller Institute of Medical Education and Research. Father Muller Institute of Medical Education and Research (FMIMER) began in 1991 in graduate school, and then went to include other courses under its banner, including bachelors in physiotherapy (1994-95), a Masters in Hospital Administration (1996) and a Bachelor of Medicine and surgery (MBBS) course in 1999. He was thus was promoted to the status of a medical college.
Father Muller also boasts a beautiful chapel - the chapel of St. Joseph, which was opened in 2005 - after a century of silver jubilee year father Muller charities.
FR Mullers also has a history of charging student fees as a method of payment of income other than from the students and those from the Higher quota management.
