False community certificates for jobs under the quota category is now obsolete. It is leprosy certificate that gets all government jobs in Tamil Nadu. Perfectly normal people who have no signs of ever having suffered leprosy has received certificates and got jobs meant leprosy cured candidates in various public hospitals in the state. Hitherto appointed more than 40 such "favored" more than two decades ago have come to light.

Justice Sasidharan, pointing out that experts had believed that the three petitioners have no symptoms of leprosy at any time, giving them time to 13 April to file appeals to the competent authority, and added that until then the status quo should be maintained.
