Directorate of Education (DOE), Delhi has announced notification DOE Delhi Recruitment 2014 and EDUDEL recruitment 2014 This message was announced in the month of July 2014 on its official website on http://www.edudel.nic.in. The department will recruit the total 14,560 vacancies for guest teachers. The candidates have filled in application form that the applicant's age should not be more than 40 years. Selection of all applicants will be made on the basis of marks of academic career. Selected candidates tariff is Rs. Rs. 800 / - per day and maximum Rs. 20000 / -PM for PGT, Rs. 700 / - per day and maximum Rs. 17500 / -PM for TGT and Rs. 600 / - per day and maximum Rs. 15000 / -PM for tutor. The national policy on education in 1986 and modified in 1992 aims to provide education of comparable quality at a given level to all students irrespective of their caste, creed residence or sex. It aims to promote a national, a sense of common citizenship and composite culture and strengthening national integration. It lays stress on the need for a radical transformation of the education system to improve quality at all stages and gives much greater attention to science and technology. All children are proposed to be given free and compulsory up to 14 years. Directorate for Education tries earnestly to implement the guidelines.
The educational facilities are provided in stages ie pre primary, primary, middle, secondary, senior secondary and university level. Pre primary and most important educations are mainly responsible for the local bodies. Intermediate, secondary and tertiary education is primarily looked after by Directorate of Education, Delhi government. Although pre primary and primary education is mainly responsible for the local bodies, the Govt. Delhi converted its 326 schools into composite schools now known as Sarvodaya Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII. At the university level, Govt. Delhi runs the 28 degree colleges funded by UGC and Delhi Govt. NDMC, though mainly concerned with primary education, also runs a selected number of middle, secondary, senior secondary schools in their areas today. Apart from this, a number of private organizations also engaged in the provision of education at all levels of schooling. These organizations are given grant-in-aid by Govt. Delhi to cover the costs of education. In addition to these recognized unaided schools are also run in Delhi by registered trusts and societies.
