Government. of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Dept. Biotechnology in coordination with the National Centre for Cell Science, Pune), provides research grants DBT-Junior (DBT-JRF) for Indian nationals to pursue research in frontier areas of biotechnology and biology applied.
Fellows will be selected through an admission test online, biotechnology eligibility test (BET) .L'examen will be held in April.

Junior Research Fellows will be selected according to merit in two categories:

Human Molecular Genetics and M.Sc. & Neuroscience and B.Tech / b. E biotechnology (4 years course after 10 + 2) recognized by UGC / AICTE are eligible for this exam.
Candidates with a minimum of 60% for general category and OBC and SC / ST / PH candidates with 55% of the total marks (grade equivalent) are eligible only
Age limit: Applicants must be under 28 for the open category and 28 February. Age relaxation of 5 years (up to 33 years) candidates for SC / ST / PH and women and 3 years (31 years) for OBC candidates will.
