Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi will conduct a test selection Central teacher (CTET) to determine eligibility of the candidate for appointment as a teacher for classes I-VIII of September 21, 2014 (Sunday).
CTET shall apply to schools of NCT Delhi, the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of the Union Territories. CTET also applies to other institutions as unaided private schools and other schools in the state government, if they exercise the option of considering CTET.
Minimum requirements for becoming a teacher for classes-V:
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
The minimum qualification for becoming a teacher for classes VI-VIII:
Candidates must have completed graduation with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
All questions in CTET test will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers CTET.
(i) the document, I'll be on the person intending to be a teacher for classes IV.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who is intending to be a teacher for classes VI VIII.
How to apply:
Visit the official website ctet.nic.in.
Fill out the application form with all your details and upload your photo and signature and submit the form.
Printing and pay challan in the bank syndicate, or to pay by credit / debit card.
After payment of fee, update the collection of information on the website of CTET, above and print the confirmation page and save it for future use.
Paper - Paper or I - II: Rs 600 (General / OBC), Rs 300 (SC / ST / Diff. Disabled)
Paper - I & II: Rs 1000 (General / OBC), Rs 500 (SC / ST / Diff. Disabled)
