Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (ComedK) has invited applications from candidates for its Undergraduate entrance Test (UGET), held for admission to medical, engineering and dental programs increased in 2015.
Criteria for candidates who want to take admission to Medical and Dental are mentioned below:
Candidates should have qualified in other PUC or should have gone grade 12 or equivalent examination recognized by the State / State, the last two years of the study should consist of physics, chemistry and biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.
The general merit candidates must have passed these subjects (PCB) individually and must have received at least 50 percent marks taken together in PCB (by SC, ST, OBC and candidates Karnataka state, 40 percent marks counted).
General deserve candidates should have secured not less than 50 percent Mark (40 percent in SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) collected in PCB subjects in COMEDK UG entrance test in 2015.
English is one of the subjects, as in previous years, be tested physics, chemistry and biology under COMEDK UGET 2015 General deserve candidates should not have gotten less than 50 percent marks in English (40 per cent will be considered in SC, ST, OBC and candidates of Karnataka). Marks then secured in English will not be added for the determination of rank to be determined solely based on the minimum required marks secured by the candidates in PCB subjects. Moreover, a candidate is not eligible for a rank if he is not sure 50 percent or 40 percent of the marks as the case may be in English. The newspaper in English is normally the second PUC or Class 12 and will test your understanding of the language, structure of words, phrases, sentences and phrases.
Candidates should have bought 17 years as on December 31, 2015.
Exams are scheduled to be held on May 10.
