Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (ComedK) has invited applications from candidates Undergraduate entrance Test (UGET), held for admission to medical, engineering, dental and architecture programs increased in 2015.
Exams are scheduled to be held on May 10.
Criteria for candidates who want to take admission to Engineering and Architecture are mentioned below:
Qualifying examination prescribed for admission to be / B. Arch is second PUC or Class 12 or equivalent examination recognized by the State / State; the last two years of the study should consist of physics, chemistry and mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
General deserve candidates should have gone after purchasing at least an amount of 45 percent marks (40 percent in SC, ST and OBC candidates Karnataka state in physics, chemistry and mathematics) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects with Chemistry or Bio technology or biology or any other technical vocational as one of the elective subjects. However, changes, possibly in the criteria by AICTE approval.
Diploma graduates can not sit for the exam as there is no lateral entry admissions.
Prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is the second PUC or Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with other subjects or 10+ 3 diploma recognized by central / state government. Candidates should have received at least 50 percent marks overall (45 percent by candidates for SC, ST and OBC category Karnataka).
Candidates should have appeared on National Security Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture after purchased a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for general category students and deserve.
Candidates should note that those seeking admission to B.Arch courses must submit separate applications that no entrance test will be conducted for these students.
