Govt. College of Engineering, Cherthala (Malayalam: കോളേജ് ഓഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ്, ചേര് ത്തല) Engineering College in Kerala, India, established in 2004, with favorable Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD)  and is recognized by all India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi . College is part of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.
The college is located in Pallippuram, in the heart of Cherthala, far enough away from the hustle and bustle to ensure a calm environment for higher education institutions. Reception for merit quota and management quota is based solely on the rank secured at all Kerala engineering entrance exams conducted by commissioner for entrance examinations, Govt. Kerala. The difference between the merits of quotas and quota management - the amount of fees that must be paid by the candidates. 15% of the seats reserved for NRIs; reception on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
The graduate program
Through alumni Aptitude Test in Engineering  exam and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of science and technology institutes of India on behalf of the National Coordination Council - Gates, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
