In chemical engineering in environmental engineering include the process of development (catalytic converter, waste-water treatment facilities), in order to minimize the released or deactivate products harmful to the environment.

To do the work, chemical engineers must have both engineering and technology, these potential process integrity and quantitative understanding of scientific principles. This is reflected in the Department of chemical engineering, including applied mathematics, material and energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, energy and mass transfer studies courses, separation technology, chemical kinetics and reactor design and process design. These courses are built on chemistry, physics and biology science base.
