Parents CBSE students have a serious reason to be concerned, and the reason is not the board exams but increased fee. Most schools have approached the fee determining the Committee to change its fee structure.
The tax hike will be considered by the Committee after scrutinizing the total cost incurred by the school, as fixed by smart classroom, air conditioning and pay teachers. Last month, the Supreme directed members of the Association of Management of Private Schools, CBSE temporarily to make a presentation of all expenses. Nearly 50 schools on the committee with the presentation in order.
Several principals said that the earlier fixed charge not include any of the necessary facilities. "Many schools were asked to increase their teacher pupil ratio from 15: 1 to 20: 1 for the demands of the committee," one of headteachers said and added that costs conditioned classrooms were not considered.
Parents, on the other hand, feel that the revised fee structure will reduce the burden of extra expenses. Many schools even charge the additional fee for sports and other co-curricular activities. The applications are treated individually said an official from education. "We can increase fees for some schools, but the committee will first inspect the facilities and costs incurred by each school," he said.
