The new MBA program, APA, as well as students interested in scientific background in finance allows financial fraud detection.
It is the era of scams. Most financial institutions and multinational corporations are not immune to chronic problems of money laundering, financial fraud and bankruptcy. Certified Public Accountant (CA) is leased to take care of the books the company and its economy, they are not fully educated on the spot financial fraud.
Keep this in mind, BML Munjal University has introduced an MBA in accounting and finance, focusing on forensic and corporate fraud.
"Before the design and publication of this program, we heard the finance companies and recognize their need to hire the right medicine accountants," says Tapan Panda, Dean, School of Management.
In the past, companies hire CAs, and then train them Forensic accounting and business fraud for nearly a year. "This proves to be an expensive thing a company," says Panda. You would like companies to miss out on valuable time and money by qualified employee, but they are also able to train them effectively concept and manage it.
CA students and professionals do not like the new course. It would be beneficial only to find a good job, but a lucrative salary. Financial information comes in handy.
The two-year full-time program to train students ability to capture fraud transactions and all kinds of business crimes. The curriculum includes Indian and global accounting standards information.
"As we teach the scientific techniques to identify financial fraud with the scientific background are also, of course," mentioned Panda.
This program, graduates will be able to work with companies such as KPMG, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, etc .; Companies and export companies who take care of business in other countries.
Employment opportunities are available in the operations of multinational corporations in India, and Indian groups, business set-ups abroad could rent the forensic accounting professionals.
CA background and MBA in Forensic Accounting expect an annual salary between any of Rs 16-20 lakhs.
"Those with a science background is always one step behind wage compared to CAs completed out of the course," notes Panda.
The eligibility conditions for the course:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum score of 60 percent
Entrance examination results (the cat, mat, XAT until, GMAT, CMAT or ATMA)
Work experience is desirable, but not mandatory
The first: Rs 4.5 lakh
Second year: Rs 4.75 lakh
