Bishop Jerome Institute was established in memory of the most Rev. Dr. Jerome m. Fernandez, the first native bishop of the diocese of Quilon-who worked tirelessly for the progress of education in Latin Catholic community, from colleges, schools and technical institutes. Bishop Jerome Institute strives to provide professional education in a Christian atmosphere for all students who join the institution for their professional training. The institution maintains an atmosphere conducive to academic classes, encouraging students in their observation of the eye and inquisitive mind that will contribute to their transformation into true professionals. The Institute also has a social mission, in turn, leaders of social obligations and moral values, which is a pioneer of social transformation for the light of the world. The Institute conducts a comprehensive technical campus with three different schools of research, namely, Engineering and Technology, School of Architecture and the School of Management. There are four different branches of study in the school of engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronics, electronics and communication engineering.
