The Bihar Public service Commission (Bihar PSC) announced the results of written examination for the judicial services of the State. The results can be checked on the official website http://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/. The written test had taken place from April 2 to 6 April at two centers in Bihar.
From a total of 1, 051 candidates selected to appear for the examination of judicial services (Mains), only 286 candidates have qualified the interview. The cutoff and merit list will be announced shortly.
The candidates who have qualified the results are requested to appear for interview. Separate call letters will be released to candidates who made it to the round of interview. The final selection will replace the combined work of written test and interview.
Created by the constitution to select applicants for civil service jobs in Bihar, public service Commission (PSC) was created in Bihar.
The warrants are listed as follows:
Conduct recruitment from competition / interview examinations by the services of the Government of the State;
Advise the State Government regarding the suitability of the official appointment on promotion as well as transfer from one service to another;
Advise the Government of State on matters related to recruitment to various services and posts, image and amendment of rules of recruitment.
Advise the State Government in all disciplinary cases relating to different civil services.
Advise the State Government in the area of granting extraordinary pensions, reimbursement of legal expenses, etc.
Advise the Government of the State on any matter referred to the Commission by the Governor of Bihar.
