Bhagini Nivedita College (BNC) is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It was established by the then Delhi Administration in August 1993 as "Women's College" in the southwestern part of New Delhi. It is funded and supported by the Government of Delhi.
The College is named after Sister Nivedita, a disciple of Swami Vivekanand was, who devoted his life to education and welfare of women. Its campus is located near the village Kair.bolshaya near Najafgarh in a clean and green environment, farms and trees.
With a strong commitment to the achievement of the higher education needs of girls in rural and semi urban areas of South West Delhi BNC come a long way since its inception in 1993 and has made rapid progress.
BNC has excellent educational infrastructure in the form of well-equipped laboratories and an extensive library. Completely new campus comes with modern teaching blocks, laboratories, classrooms, dormitory and staff quarters. Since its inception, BNC established an impressive reputation and record in academics, NCC and sports. Faculty consists of highly qualified scientists.
