Andaman Public Works Department(APWD),Port Blair, has invited applications from the eligible candidates for filling positions as Assistant Town planner on contract basis. The position is initially for six month or till the posts are filled up through UPSC.
Name of the post: Assistant Town planner
Candidates should have done Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering from a recognized university/institute or must have passed Part A & B examination conducted by Indian Institute of Architects and recognized by council of Architecture.
Post graduate degree or post graduate diploma (2 years) in urban planning or regional planning or town planning or housing or environmental planning recognized by Institute of town planners(India) from a recognized university.
Age limit: Candidates age should not exceed 30 years.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs 26,000 per month.
Selection will be done on the basis of candidates performance in interview.
