Dr. BR Ambedkar College of law University of Andhra LLB course provides an integrated five-year academic year 2015-15, vice chancellor GSN Raju announced.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, the vice Chancellor said that admission to the course of funding would be through LAWCET.
This year football will offer 60 seats and a number of students from abroad have expressed interest in joining the course.
The course is aimed at students who wish to take up the Bill after 10 + 2 and could not afford to study in private universities and universities of law. The fee was capped at Rs. 20,000 per year, he explained. The course will have 10 semesters in which 46 would have covered subjects including compulsory disciplines of law 24 and six optional subjects and 16 non-law subjects, principal of the College of Law a. Bar Council has mandated that all colleges of law offers five-year LLB course, au course starts this year, he added.
Integrated five-year LLB course would be apart for three years, a two-year LLB LLM and PhD in law offered by the College. With the introduction of five-year LLB course football it would be able to improve its ranking of law colleges in the country, he explained.
