Mumbai: Although there is no official date has been announced by the authorities to the examination date, the sources said that soon will announce the results of civil services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
After the announcement of the results will be online at http://www.upsc.gov.in.
Successful candidates may then appear for civil services (mains) written examinations.
Preliminary examination has two papers of 200 marks. List of merit qualifications of candidates for consideration by the civil services (mains) is drawn using the aggregate marks obtained in both documents minus the maximum marks allocated to questions on the perception of English language skills (ie those questions in Paper-II, for which Hindi Translation have not been specified ).
Visually impaired students receive 20 minutes extra hour for both documents. More than 4.5 kyat candidates appeared for the examination, on 24 August.
A total of 9,44,926 candidates applied for the study, but only 6,80,455 downloaded admit card. Of the nearly seven candidates Kyat Kyat 4.5 appeared for the test conducted in 2137 centers in 59 cities across India.
Once applicants staged violent protests, demanding the scrapping Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT), introduced in 2011, and delay the examination were held this year prelim exams.
The government later said the English judgment in the document II exam will not for achievements and graduation and allowed applicants in 2011 to appear for the exam in 2015.
The study of civil service students get accepted in the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service.
