The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat has launched a pilot project called 'Unnati "which would aimed at improving communication skills in English among students of different government run secondary schools in the state. The CM was of the opinion that if education could not equip the future generation to survive the challenges of the competitive world is wasted and so it is important that students are prepared for the future.
Rawat has promised full financial support for the project and it is clear that the entire project you get reviewed after three months. If the results came out to be the minister made it clear that this project would become an integral part of the educational system of the state, which would help many students to achieve self-esteem and confidence through learning the language his secondary education satisfactory.
Students comfortable while speaking English is the motto of the project and, therefore, has set the initial period of three months of the project. The students of government schools remain hesitant lonely so, this project could help them regain their confidence to speak the global language which is to provide employment opportunities for many in this competitive world.
Minister of Education Mantriprasad Naithani said the state Hindi, Garhwal, Kumauni languages have their own importance but knowledge of English is required for the bright future of children today.
